Rubbernecker Thursday- Sledding Polar Bears
Good Morning, thanks for stopping by! Today I am sharing a card made with several stamp sets from Rubbernecker Stamps. Bears Sledding #961-03 is the focal image, (I LOVE these bears so much!) they are really cute, and a true delight to color. I used Snowflake Panel #482 stamped in Fun Stampers journey Blue Lagoon ink, for my background panel. These little tiny snowflakes are wonderful, just perfect to create a winter scene like this one! I cut my snowy hills from white card stock, and inked the edges with the same ink, then marked their placement on the background panel with a pencil. This made it very easy to stamp my trees from Watercolor Forest#972, perfectly along the hill tops! Trees are stamped in Kiwi Slice ink, also from FSJ. The first snowy hill was glued directly to the background panel, the second one is popped up with foam tape. I colored my bears with Copic markers, then fussy cut each one and popped them up with foam tape as well. For the sentiment I chose Merry Christmas # 980-12 , and stamped it in FSJ Cranberry Bliss ink. I really love how this one turned out!
Watercolor Forest#972 is an amazing two part stamp set that can be used with a number of mediums, one group of trees stamps lighter than the other so you can create the illusion of distance. This is a set I know I will be using again and again! If you check back on Sunday I have two more cards to share using this set!
