Rubbernecker Design Team Sunday- Be Grateful

Welcome to Rubbernecker Design Team Sunday. I am so happy with how today’s card turned out! I have been having so much fun playing and experimenting with the new Distress Oxide Inks. It’s been so refreshing to try out different techniques and styles that I have not really used in the past. I  started this card with the Distress Oxide background I had made earlier,  I used Les Miserables #673 in black ink over the top, to add some more texture. I thought it still needed a little more something, so I added some black “splatters” with Splater Stains #3006. I had colored the butterfly from Butterflies are Free #3020 with Copic markers, and die cut it with the matching die set Butterflies are Free #3020D. The sentiment is from the same stamp set, Butterflies are Free.  A little sparkly washi tape added just the right thing to complete this card. I also added a little shimmer to the butterfly’s wings, but it is hard to see in the photo.

I hope you enjoied this card as much as I did making it! 🙂  I hope you will pop over to the Rubbernecker Inspiration Blog to see what the other design team members have created for you. There is also a new challenge that started this week!! Join the fun for a chance to win some awesome Rubbernecker Stamps products!!! Thanks for stopping by today! 🙂
