Rubbernecker Thursday- Spooky Nights

Nothing like checking your blog, only to find all your words missing! ***GASP*** Good thing I came home for lunch today!! Crisis averted! 🙂 So today I have this awesome Rubbernecker Halloween card to share with you. I made it using The Spider Web background #45-10 and Pumpkin Man #936. I started by stamping the Pumpkin man in versa fine black ink, love that ink so deep dark black, and crisp! I made a mask for my Pumpkin man with a post it note, then stamped the Spider Web background in versa mark ink so I could clear emboss it. Then I got to work with my Distress inks and daubers! I started with the insides of the Pumpkin man image, and the moon. Then I picked a lighter color for my moon “glow”. I added a lovely purple to the rest of the card front, then working from the edges inward I added a deep blue until I had achieved to look I wanted. The clear embossing kept my spider web looking lovely and white! The sentiment I added is from Halloween Set2 #474, I cut my sentiment layers out with the Nested Oval Small Stitch Die Set #5014D, also from Rubbernecker. I used the same ink treatment on the sentiment as I did the card front. When I finished this card I added a spritz of shimmer spray that I made using the Ken Oliver Heavy Metals mixed with water in a small spritzer, looks so shimmery !! 🙂

Thanks for stopping by today, be sure to check out all the other wonderful cards over on the Rubbernecker Inspiration Blog!! Have a fabulous day!! 🙂
