It’s Rubbernecker design team Sunday! Today I have a fun little coffee themed card to share with you, using a new stamp Perkatory #1053-10, so funny! This sentiment fit perfectly on my die cut coffee cup. “Perkatory: The anguished, prolonged period spent waiting for a […]
Hello, and welcome to another Rubbernecker Thursday! Today’s card features a fun and whimsical tractor that I colored with Copic markers. Tractor #729-03 is a great image and fun to color! I like he fact that I can easily use it for masculine cards, but the simple addition of a few flowers can transform my card to a “country girl” type of card! I also used Cheesecloth Background #437, to add some texture to my Oatmeal card stock (FSJ). The sentiment is from the Rubbernecker clear set, Happy Birthday #3031, an awesome set with many different fonts and arrangements of the Happy Birthday sentiment!! I added a touch of Oatmeal Cookie Gingham Ribbon (FSJ) to finish my card. These (FSJ) flowers were on my desk for another project, but I decided they looked really nice with this funky tractor, so they ended up on the finished card!
Hope that you are having a fabulous day, appreciate you stopping by!! 🙂

Welcome to the first ever Designer’s Showcase Blog Hop!
What is the Designer’s Showcase? We are a team of ten Journey Coaches from all over the country. Fun Stampers Journey hand selected this group of coaches based on hand stamped submissions that we all sent in. Our goal is to showcase the amazing products that Fun Stampers Journey has to offer and inspire you to create.
Let me tell you a little bit about myself, my name is Angela Kelley and I have been a Fun Stampers Journey Coach for a couple of years now. I have taught classes in scrapbooking, paper crafting, and card making for around 12 years. I love everything about this art, and sharing it with others is just a perk! I am thrilled and honored to have been chosen for the Designer’s Showcase Team with all these amazingly talented ladies!! I can’t wait to get started!
Today’s blog hop is all about Mixed Media, and in all honesty it is a new avenue of creativity for me! It’s exciting and fun to try new things, and I have been having a blast experimenting with my new Gel Press. This background paper is something I made with my Gel press, a brayer, stencil, and some FSJ acrylic paints! It’s kind of addictive, and there are so many different ways to get really amazing prints! So FUN!! Even better this month FSJ is having a wonderful Mixed Media Promotion, with 20% off selected mixed media items, including the Gel Press!! Paints, Stencils, Pan Pastels, and many other fabulous mixed media items are on the list!! Check it out HERE.
For this card I used Artful Butterflies (DI-0007) Die Set, six dies, three different sized butterflies. You can layer them, as I did here, or use them individually. I used our new Liquid Colors watered down and painted on like watercolors for the top layer of the butterfly. The bottom layer was a printed paper that looked like news print, from the Romantic Journey Prints (PP-0045)paper collection. I inked it up to darken it, then decided to add some Journey Sparkle Dust (AC-0013) over the whole thing. It is hard to see how sparkly it is in the picture… The sentiment is from Hello Love (SS-0485), stamped in Blue Lagoon Ink (IP-0002). All these great products can be found in my web store, or with your favorite Journey Coach.
This second card was also made using the Gel Press, a super quick and easy way to create some really “artsy” prints to use for all kinds of projects! For this card I also used a stencil, Stained Glass (JM-0008) and Journey Modeling Paste (JM-0073) on clear card stock. Everyday Tags Die Set (DI-0255) stamped with “Hello” from Must have Sentiments (SS-0501) finish this card off perfectly. I really love the colors on this one!

Welcome to another Rubbernecker Design Team Sunday, so glad that you are here! Today’s card was created with a beautiful sentiment from Rubbernecker Stamps, Will of God #1050-04, this is a beautiful inspirational sentiment. The background was made using Distress Oxide inks, still loving them!! […]
Hope you are having a wonderful day today, and thank you for joining me for another Rubbernecker Design Team Sunday! I have been playing with my Ken Oliver Color Burst watercolors again! So FUN! I made these pretty papers in a few different colors, if you make a whole sheet of watercolor paper you will have enough beautiful paper for several projects. I used just a tiny bit of each to die cut my balloons for this card. I stamped (more…)
