I really do not like spiders at all, so it’s weird that I like this stamp set so much! This is Wicked Web, and it’s in the A Muse Studio holiday catalog along with that wonderful eek die. I have to say I am loving […]
Well it is almost time to say good-bye to summer and hello to fall! I guess I will be happy to see some cooler weather, but it’s always so sad (to me anyway!) to see summer come to a close. Thankfully I live in an area that has a fairly temperate climate, so the mornings and evenings will be chilly, but the days will remain pleasant.
This little fox and sentiment are from, Fall In The Forest, in the A Muse Studio Holiday Catalog. The leaves are from Hey Foxy, also from A Muse.
Papers: A Muse Studio Sugar, Eucalyptus, Pumpkin, and French Roast wood grain cardstock
Leaves colored with Peerless Watercolor Sheets, and Gold Splash Spray
Fox colored with Copic markers.
Enjoy your last days of summer! Thanks for visiting today! 🙂
Here’s another card using “You’re a Lifesaver”, from A Muse Studio, colored with our new Peerless Watercolor sheets. Paper colors are Sugar Ocean, and Cherry, with a little Cherry Petite Polka Dot, Bermuda Chevron and Bermuda Petite Stripe. I used our Medium Scalloped Border Die to create the waves for my boat to float on. A bit of Mermaid Baker’s Cording holds the anchor! A tiny spritz of Bermuda Splash ink on the Petite Stripe paper and TA-DA! So happy with how this one turned out! 🙂
I saw this card sketch somewhere…. but for the life of me I can’t remember where! (eek) I am a big believer of giving credit to those that inspire me, so I beg your pardon, and apologize!! 🙂
Have a really great day!! So happy you stopped by! 🙂
I am loving this Bathing Beauties stamp set, so fun! This card reminds me of many a summer day spent swimming at the river or the lake. Not that I had cool polka dot inner tube, or a bathing cap with daisies for that matter. We did have a huge inner tube from some piece of large equipment that my sweet dad supplied to us. It was black, and would fry your back side if you forgot and sat on it before splashing cold water on it- ask me how I know! 🙂 The thing was giant, we managed to fit 3 to 4 of us on at a time. It was just as fun on the beach as in the water, I remember bouncing around, and around, trying to bounce each other off, laughing til our sides hurt. Great memories. Nothing like a day at the river, swimming til you were so tired you couldn’t keep your eyes open on the drive home. 🙂
I also have some not so fond memories, of that same inner tube, when my big brother convinced me it would be great fun if he rolled it down the hill in the horse pasture, with me inside….that thing could really bounce when it got going! 🙂
Bathing Beauties, Mod Backgrounds 2, and Polka Dot Patterns stamp sets. Sugar, Bermuda, and Habanero card stocks. Momento and Versamark inks, and Versamarker pen . White A Muse Studio Embossing Powder. Sprinkled With Love die. Orange Baker’s Cording. Copic markers E02, 00, R20.
Hope this brings back some sweet summertime memories for you too! 🙂 Have a wonderful day!
