Hello, and welcome to another FSJ Designer’s Showcase Team Blog Hop!! With Christmas right around the corner we decided to share some fun ideas for gift tags with you. I made two tags to share with you today using the lovely Herald Angels stamp set […]
I am loving this cozy little cabin from Rubbernecker stamps, KKCS Moose #3013. There are two different cabins, four different trees, and a bunch of critters to add to your woodsy scene. I stamped the cabin first, then used a masking technique to add my […]
What could be cuter than a skiing snowman?? How about a skiing snowman that moves! I have a confession… I have never made a slider card before! ** gasp!* I always wanted to because I see so many really cute slider cards out there, but I just never got around to actually making one. So when I was coloring this cute little Rubbernecker Snowman Skiing #963-04, I thought I should give it a try. This is the perfect image for this kind of card, I just love how it turned out! And, it was pretty easy, which means I will be making more sliders in the future!
Here is another picture of this little snowman in motion.
I used the sentiment Christmas Greeting Large #983-06 to finish my card, sentiment is heat embossed using white embossing powder. I colored my snowman with Copic markers.
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope that you enjoyed this card! Be sure to pop over to the Rubbernecker Inspiration Blog to see all the other great card the other design team members have created for you!! 🙂 Hope you have a wonderful day!!

Happy Thanksgiving!! I hope that you are enjoying a wonderful day spent with loved ones, sharing time and enjoying one another. Thanksgiving has always been one of my most favorite holidays, just because of all the love and blessings gathered together (and my mom’s pies!) […]
Hello! Welcome to another FSJ Designers Showcase Blog Hop!! This month we are featuring “Pockets and Lockets”, using some fun items that are currently on sale in the month of November. Click HERE to see the sale flyer! With the holidays coming up fast I chose to focus on the Pocket Dies for this hop. There are so many great dies in this sale to choose from, for creating wonderful packaging for all kinds of small gifts and gift cards! I chose to use the Double Pocket Card Die (DI-0298) and the Pocket Trims (DI-0297) for my first project today. I cut out the base for the Double Pocket Card from Cool Pool card stock, and all the trim pieces from Whip Cream card stock. I stamped the front pocket with the Graduated Dots background stamp (SS-0117), in Cool Pool ink.. For the center piece I stamped Striped Wall (SS-0180) in Blue Lagoon ink. For the back panel I used Flannel Life (SS-0325), again in Cool Pool ink. I then added all the trims to the top of each of the panels, folded the tabs and glued the card together to create my pockets. I used one of the trim pieces turned upside down and coated with Sparkle Silk (IP-0126) for the “snow” at the bottom on the front pocket. Santa, the small trees, and the sentiment are all from Be Jolly (SS-0178), and colored with colored pencils and gamsol. I added a few “snowflakes” from my Holiday Elements Journey Sequins (AC-0116) to finish the front. The center pocket is great to tuck a gift card, or even a little cash as a gift. While the top pocket is great to add a personal note to complete your gift/card. I added a small pull out tag for my greeting and personal note, made from Whip Cream card stock and stamped lightly with Vintage Notes (SS-0303). A little Sweet Berry Gingham Ribbon (AC-0093), embellished with a Metal Button (AC-0034) and a touch of Natural Twine (AC-0005) make it so easy to pull this little note from the back pocket.
I was having so much fun, I decided to make another pocket project to share!
This is an A-2 size card with a gift card pocket on the front as part of the design! I used the same stamp set, Be Jolly, for my focal image and sentiment. I also used Flannel Life and Graduated Dots background stamps for this card as well. This is the Window Pocket Die (DI-0150) cut from Green Olive card stock and stamped with Green Olive ink. I love this little pocket because it works so well on a card like this, or alone as a gift card holder, but also for a scrapbook page, or a pocket page album!! I made a “tag gift card holder insert” for my window pocket, using the steel ruled die Tag Set (SR-0014).
I scored and folded my Sweet Pear card stock before die cutting, making it possible to slide a gift card inside. I stamped the front side with Canvas Prints background (SS-0019) in Limeade Splash ink, and added the sentiment in Cranberry Bliss ink, before I added the ribbon and button.
The Doily Die (DI-0105) really helped to brighten things up as well as add a great texture element. I finished things off with a few red flower sequins from the Holiday Elements Sequins, and a little “poinsettia” I made with Flower Layers Die Set (DI-0067) with a few pearls for the center.
I hope that you enjoyed my projects today, the next stop on the Hop is…

Welcome to our second Fun Stampers Journey Designer’s Showcase Blog Hop! Today it’s all about planners and planner projects. This month we have a great sale going on, 25% off planners and planner accessories! Now, I am not actually a planner girl…I have tried, really I have. But I love the idea of a beautiful planner, all jazzed up with creative goodness… So in that spirit I have created some really fun decorative planner page tabs! I used the Tab Clip Die Set (DI-0240), this is a wonderful set of 6 dies that can be used for scrapbooking, and cards, as well as planners. The largest die makes a great bookmark too! I chose a pink and silver color palette, mostly because I wanted to use that awesome Silver Sparkle Tape (AC-0259)! I cut my tabs out of Sweet Berry cardstock, then added an overlay of vellum. I cut my flowers from Bubblegum cardstock, and silver mirror cardstock, using the Blooming Details Die set (DI-0327). The sentiments are from Text Happy (SS-0168) and Beautiful Wings (SS-0353), stamped in Sweet Berry ink. I added Sparkle Drops (AC0160) to the centers of my flowers to complete my design. Once I started I couldn’t stop! Here are a few more designs I came up with, I hope they inspire you.
This shot shows how the clips look when added to a page.
